S&P Global Ratings retrospective evaluation of banks’ green bonds covered by the specialist press

S&P Global Ratings’ report, which looked at the green bond issuance of the world’s top 200 banks through the lens of the Green Evaluation tool, has been covered in the specialist press.

While the bank-issued green bond market is growing fast, figures are still significantly lower than what is necessary to meet the targets set out in the Paris Agreement.

Only 65% of banks were found to have issued green bonds so far, with China representing over half of total green bond issuance by banks.

Following outreach from Moorgate, the review was covered by: The Asset, Quartz and Environmental Finance.
