S&P Global Ratings’ Michael Ferguson discusses America’s battery storage revolution for BRINK News

Few technologies can boast the potential to permanently disrupt America’s energy markets. Advanced battery energy storage (ABES), however, may be an exception to the rule.

Writing for BRINK News, Michael Ferguson, S&P Global Ratings’ director of U.S. energy infrastructure, believes that ABES could upend America’s existing power model.

Ferguson notes: ‘Once the financing of batteries on their economic merits has been established, we may see a “crossing of the Rubicon” by the power industry.’
