In an exclusive interview with Banker Middle East, Simon Eedle, Regional Head, Middle East at Natixis, discusses what he sees at Natixis’ role in the region in the years to come.
Since 1998, Natixis has maintained a strong growth in the Middle East, first establishing a presence in Dubai where the bank’s business was based primarily around structured finance. Yet from 2014 to 2017, the bank’s strategy was to reshape the way it deals with clients and build upon its other areas of expertise in the region including investment solutions, primary debt markets, advisory, and trade finance.
In the interview, Eedle further elaborates the bank’s 2018 to 2020 plan, New Dimension, and what it will mean for the bank’s expanding operations.
