iGTB’s product innovation has been recognised in Global Finance’s hotly-contested annual “The Innovators” awards. Named as one of just seven winners in the “Product Innovation” category of the publication’s 2016 “Innovators in Transaction Services” awards, iGTB has once again made headlines with its development of CBX on Apple Watch. Announced amid great fanfare at SIBOS 2015, the extension of CBX – the true omni-channel digital enterprise platform – to new devices including the Apple Watch marked a turning point in corporate payments, enabling C-suite executives to enjoy the same level of ease, mobility and convenience as retail customers.
CBX, which leverages Canvas Technology to define and design the electronic face of the bank, includes centralised fine-grain bank-grade entitlements, a payments pre-processor (for taking future payments, for example) a power fees and charges module to allow bundled cash and trade volume discounting, online chat features and biometric log-in.
iGTB’s outstanding contribution to product innovation was recognised by Global Finance’s editorial board, with publisher and editorial director Joseph D. Giarraputo stating that “much is being gained in speed and efficiency, but applications that improve information flows, thus enabling smarter decision-making, will ultimately deliver the greatest value”.
