BNY Mellon recently appointed Hani Kablawi as their new Head of Investment Services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Formerly the Head of Asset Servicing for EMEA, Kablawi will now lead the business strategy for Investment Services in the region.
Kablawi’s new role will span BNY Mellon’s services and solutions across asset servicing, alternative investment services, corporate trust services, broker-dealer services, depositary receipts and treasury services.
Indeed, the move signals BNY Mellon’s continuing commitment to bringing together buy-side and sell-side solutions as well as capitalise on significant investments in technology and innovation to drive growth across the EMEA region.
On his appointment, Brian Shea, CEO of Investment Services, says, “Hani’s leadership during a period of unprecedented economic and regulatory change, and his unwavering focus on our clients’ success, make him exceptionally positioned to lead our Investment Services business in EMEA.”
