S&P tells gtnews “Europe’s mid-market is coming on in leaps and bounds”

Standard & Poor’s Taron Wade talks to gtnews about the surge of private investment Europe’s mid-market experienced in 2014. Specifically, she explains that alternative lending markets were able to open up to a wider range of companies through the emergence of unlisted and senior secured debt deals, and that despite economic stagnation in the region, new political initiatives – such as the European Commission’s ‘Juncker Plan’ – will help this trend to continue in 2015.
