S&P talks to The Banker’s GRR on tensions over Basel’s expected credit loss accounting framework

An article in the March issue of Global Risk Regulator (GRR), a service from The Banker, looks at tensions between the Basel committee and bankers over the regulator’s expected credit loss accounting framework, intended to bring earlier loss recognition into banks’ financial statements. As a result of Moorgate outreach, Osman Sattar, Director of Financial Institution Ratings at Standard & Poor’s, spoke to GRR on the topic and is quoted in the piece on p22 and p23.
