Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Venture Capital invests in CyActive

Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal report the news that Siemens Venture Capital’s US$100 million “Industry of the Future” fund has invested an undisclosed sum in CyActive; an Israeli cyber security start-up. CyActive uses predictive bio-algorithms to outsmart hackers by predicting malware attacks before they happen.

Ralf Schnell, CEO of Siemens Venture Capital, said that CyActive’s solution is “ideal for critical infrastructure that cannot be disrupted or taken offline by hackers.” Mr. Schnell highlighted the fund’s strategy, stating that “by investing at the early stage, Siemens can access powerful, and potentially game-changing technologies ahead of the market.”
