Wall Street Journal quotes Natixis’ Patrick Artus

Patrick Artus, the chief global economist at Natixis, was cited in the Wall Street Journal this week. The citation opportunity followed a one-on-one meeting between Artus and the WSJ’s European economics editor – set up by Moorgate to coincide with a Natixis event on the same topic – where Artus conducted an empirical assessment of inflation risk to find out where it could reappear.

The WSJ’s article looks across the single currency area to determine the current trends in inflation rates, and compares them to the UK’s rate, which looks likely to stay above the Bank of England’s 2% target until around 2016.
